Our Levels
Our curriculum follows the proficiency framework of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), with approximate equivalences to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) shown for reference.
The program spans a Foundation course plus 24 progressive levels, from absolute beginner through Advanced High. Every level defines its topics, vocabulary targets, grammar, and clear learning outcomes, so you always know where you stand and what comes next.
Each level develops the four core skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with defined outcomes and assessment criteria.

يتبع منهجنا إطار الكفاءة اللغوية الصادر عن المجلس الأمريكي لتعليم اللغات الأجنبية (ACTFL)، مع الإشارة إلى ما يقابله تقريبًا في الإطار المرجعي الأوروبي المشترك للغات (CEFR).
يمتد البرنامج على دورة تأسيسية إضافةً إلى 24 مستوى متدرجًا، من المبتدئ تمامًا حتى المستوى المتقدم العالي. ويُحدَّد كل مستوى بموضوعاته، وأهدافه من المفردات، وقواعده، ونواتج تعلّم واضحة، لتعرف دائمًا أين أنت وما هي خطوتك التالية.
ويطوّر كل مستوى المهارات الأربع الأساسية: الاستماع، والتحدث، والقراءة، والكتابة، مع نواتج محددة ومعايير تقييم واضحة.

We use Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced as our level names. These correspond directly to the ACTFL Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced proficiency ranges. The Foundation level is a preparatory stage for learners with no prior knowledge of Arabic and is not an ACTFL proficiency level. Hours refer to instructor-led live teaching hours and do not include self-study or homework. CEFR equivalences are approximate and provided for reference only.
نستخدم تسميات المبتدئ والمتوسط والمتقدم، وهي تقابل مباشرةً نطاقات الكفاءة في إطار ACTFL. أما المستوى التأسيسي فهو مرحلة تمهيدية للطلاب الذين لا يملكون معرفة سابقة باللغة العربية، وليس مستوى رسميًا ضمن ACTFL. وتشير الساعات إلى ساعات التدريس المباشر ولا تشمل الدراسة الذاتية أو الواجبات. وما يقابلها في إطار CEFR تقريبي وللاسترشاد فقط.

Foundation (F-0) — 40 hoursالدورة التأسيسية — 40 ساعة
For: learners with no prior knowledge of Arabic.
Topics: the full Arabic alphabet in all its letter forms, with pronunciation and writing; reading and writing practice; numbers 1 to 10, then 20 to 100; days and seasons; simple sentences of introduction.
Vocabulary target: approximately 125 words.
By the end, the learner can: count from 1 to 10, and pronounce, read, and write the Arabic letters.
لمن: الطلاب الذين لا يملكون أي معرفة سابقة باللغة العربية.
الموضوعات: الأحرف الأبجدية بأشكالها جميعًا مع النطق والكتابة، القراءة والكتابة، الأرقام من 1 إلى 10 ثم من 20 إلى 100، الأيام والفصول، جمل التعريف البسيطة.
المفردات: 125 كلمة تقريبًا.
في النهاية يستطيع المتعلم: العد من 1 إلى 10، ونطق الأحرف قراءةً وكتابةً.
Level 1 — Beginner Low — 25 hoursالمستوى 1 — مبتدئ منخفض — 25 ساعة
Topics: alphabet and pronunciation review, greetings and introductions, numbers 11 to 100, the months and related vocabulary, simple independent pronouns, the simple nominal sentence, basic question words.
Grammar: pronouns, this and that, yes and no, question words, the simple sentence.
Vocabulary target: approximately 250 words.
By the end, the learner can: introduce themselves, state their name and nationality, greet others, read simple words, write their personal details, understand short instructions, and count from 0 to 100.
الموضوعات: مراجعة الأبجدية والنطق وتعزيز المرحلة السابقة، التحيات والتعارف، الأرقام من 11 إلى 100، الشهور والمفردات المتعلقة بها، الضمائر المنفصلة البسيطة، الجملة الاسمية البسيطة، أدوات الاستفهام الأساسية.
القواعد: الضمائر، هذا وهذه، نعم ولا، أدوات السؤال، الجملة البسيطة.
المفردات: 250 كلمة تقريبًا.
في النهاية يستطيع المتعلم: أن يعرّف بنفسه، ويذكر اسمه وجنسيته، ويحيّي الآخرين، ويقرأ كلمات بسيطة، ويكتب بياناته الشخصية، ويفهم التعليمات القصيرة، ويعدّ من 0 إلى 100.
Level 2 — Beginner Mid — 25 hoursالمستوى 2 — مبتدئ متوسط — 25 ساعة
Topics: family, professions, colors, adjectives, simple attached possessive pronouns, the verbal sentence, conjugating independent pronouns.
Grammar: the simple past, the present tense, negation, possession.
Vocabulary target: approximately 500 words.
By the end, the learner can: describe their family, ask about others, write a short paragraph, follow a simple dialogue, and describe people.
الموضوعات: الأسرة، المهن، الألوان، الصفات، ضمائر الملكية المتصلة البسيطة، الجملة الفعلية، تصريف الضمائر المنفصلة.
القواعد: الفعل الماضي البسيط، الفعل المضارع، النفي، الملكية.
المفردات: 500 كلمة تقريبًا.
في النهاية يستطيع المتعلم: وصف أسرته، والسؤال عن الآخرين، وكتابة فقرة قصيرة، وفهم حوار بسيط، ووصف الأشخاص.
Level 3 — Beginner Mid — 30 hoursالمستوى 3 — مبتدئ متوسط — 30 ساعة
Topics: the home, food, shopping, directions, telling time, adverbs of time such as today, yesterday, morning, and evening.
By the end, the learner can: order food, buy what they need, describe their home, use the present tense with reasonable fluency, and hold a short conversation.
الموضوعات: المنزل، الطعام، التسوق، الاتجاهات، الوقت، ظروف الزمان مثل اليوم والبارحة وصباحًا ومساءً.
في النهاية يستطيع المتعلم: طلب الطعام، وشراء الاحتياجات، ووصف المنزل، واستخدام الزمن الحاضر بطلاقة نسبية، وإجراء محادثة قصيرة.
Level 4 — Beginner High — 30 hoursالمستوى 4 — مبتدئ عالٍ — 30 ساعة
Topics: travel, bookings and prices, transportation, health and parts of the body, weather, geography and terrain.
By the end, the learner can: book a hotel, use public transport, describe simple symptoms, and understand short announcements.
الموضوعات: السفر والحجوزات والأسعار، المواصلات، الصحة وأقسام الجسم، الطقس، الجغرافيا والتضاريس.

Level 5 — Beginner High — 35 hoursالمستوى 5 — مبتدئ عالٍ — 35 ساعة
Topics: work, study, daily routine, hobbies.
By the end, the learner can: talk about their day, describe their experiences, write a simple email, and follow everyday conversations.

في النهاية يستطيع المتعلم: التحدث عن يومه، ووصف خبراته، وكتابة بريد إلكتروني بسيط، وفهم المحادثات اليومية.
Level 6 — Beginner High — 35 hoursالمستوى 6 — مبتدئ عالٍ — 35 ساعة
Topics: services such as laundry, ironing, and salon visits; banking, including account types, deposits, and withdrawals; restaurants, including ordering meals, types of food, and drinks; occasions such as holidays, weddings, and graduations; technology, including the phone, television, and radio; the environment, covering conservation, cleanliness, forests, and pollution; and culture, covering cultural differences, forms of dance, dress, halal and haram foods, well-known dishes, and everyday colloquial expressions.
By the end, the learner can: take part in daily conversations, describe past events, plan for the future, write simple formal letters, and understand straightforward news.
الموضوعات: الخدمات مثل غسيل الملابس والكي والتجميل والحلاقة، البنوك وأنواع الحسابات والإيداع والسحب، المطاعم وطلب الوجبات وأنواع الأطعمة والمشروبات، المناسبات مثل الأعياد والأعراس والتخرج، التقنية مثل الهاتف والتلفاز والراديو، البيئة والمحافظة عليها والنظافة والغابة والتلوث، والثقافة والاختلافات الثقافية وأنواع الرقص واللباس والأكل الحلال والحرام وأشهر الأكلات وعبارات العامية اليومية.
